If we aren''t overloaded on2009-04-28 00:00:00I tend to find that If we aren't overloaded on healers and everyone tries to stay to their assignment i usually get about 30% overheal. Any more than that and i start looking as to who's healing my MT when they shouldn't be :P I think you are doing very well to get 19%. And Pally's in my experiee always overheal like mad o.O

overhealing, even less so if2009-04-28 00:00:00I wouldn't worry about overhealing, even less so if no one is dying, or your group isn't wing. There are lots of reasons why someone would overheal (HOTs, AoE heals, lag, too many healers and not enough dmg taken by the group, people keen to get high on the healing meter, e..), and as long as no one dies, it's not big deal really. I usually overheal by about 15-25% as Holy, and I think that's pretty good. I also think it's better to be safe than sorry, even if that means overhealing. 70% is a bit mh, though. A dent ballpark would be 50%. An even better ballpark is...
mentality, though =P Under2009-04-28 00:00:00I do agree with that mentality, though =P. Under normaliumstaes, I probably wouldn't, but this mentalityombined with the easyness of Naxx is what makes raiding boring for me at the moment. I'm getting outhealed on my targets by holy priests usingoH, druids using Wild Growth and paladins spamming Flash of Light on everything.

New hunter roles....with their pets!2009-04-13 00:00:00Competent hunters should be very valuable indeed now that the pet-talent trees have been introduced.
Even before the new pet talents were introduced I could get my pet to tank some pretty nasty mobs and I was only using a DPS pet as well (Raptor). Now with the introduction of the new talents, it looks to me that a properly specd BM hunter with a Tenacity (Tank) pet should be able to have their pet tank through lower end instances.
They have more aggro ability, a 'Last-stand', an Intervene and a Taunt now as well...plus their...
Use it before you lose it!!2009-04-13 00:00:00As many of you know there is a way to spec your hunter so then you get both beastial wrath and readyness. So for those of you that don't know what that means, once you've popped BW you can pop readyness and pop BW again. In other words "32 seconds of I win". That being said, blizz has decided to end the hunters over powered reign and "fix" this issue. So before they release the patch (lord only knows when that day will come) I figured I'd tell all those who enjoy beastial wrath to use it while you sti...
Shot cycle MM spec2009-04-13 00:00:00worked hard on this spec and i think im keeping this for a long time. this spec keeps your shot cycle rolling. hunter mark first, then serpent sting ( make a macro with the following commands: /cast serpent sting *then enter* /cast kill command)
arcane shot , either multishot or aimed shot which ever you feel is right, then spam your steady untill your multi/aimed and arcane shot are out of CD, arcane shot, aimed/multi then hit it with your chimera shot to ke...
Activision Blizzard voted most likely to succeed2009-04-13 00:00:00An industry survey put together by GI.biz has voted WoW's own Activision Blizzard as the most likely videogame publisher to succeed in 2009. Not that surprising -- not only do they have the Warcraft behemoth under their belt, but Starcraft 2 is rumored for a release this year, as is a sequel to 2007's best selling game, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and a Guitar Hero spinoff called DJ Hero.
And who knows what BlizzCon will hold -- even though we're only now rea...
Activision loses money, Blizzard to release one marquee game per year2009-04-13 00:00:00Activision-Blizzard held a conference call for the press yesterday, and so there's all kinds of financial and release news floating around out there. The biggest news isn't necessarily Blizzard-related, but it does mean that our game's company is finally feeling the crunch a bit: Activision-Blizzard reported a loss of $72 million in the last quarter, and their outlook for the coming year fell short of analysts' expectations. Even though that sounds bad, it doesn't mean things are necessarily bad, though: Blizzard themselves added nearly a billion dollars to the total, so while A-B might not b...
Ads on the Official Forums2009-04-13 00:00:00Personally, I dont see what the big deal is really. I mean yeah I dont like having bad ads like the annoying buzzing or sound ones that start gabbing to you about this or that; but this is Blizzard. I mean seriously, you know theyre only going to promote their own products or their affiliates and if I have to see a hot gamer chick wearing a Warcraft shirt pushing J!NX inventory, well I think Ill survive.
I mean just look at this screenshot, its an ad for the comic books (which are rather good) and the new minis game (which is more for collectors in my opinion). How is this brutally harming you or anybody? How is this affect...
All Quiet on the Northern Front2009-04-13 00:00:00I wish there was more going on right now to gab about really. I mean sure we can find (and so I shall) topics to delve into but honestly as far as BREAKING NEWS there isnt much coming our way.
Im sure the next patch will be hitting the PTRs Soon? with the hunter nerfs and paladin buffs and other delightful treats (in upcoming posts), until then were stuck arguing the age old debates translated to Northrend. There is, however, one bit of news that has kept me overly intruiged and Im sure most of you are chopping at the bit for it. The Dual-spec system. Its planned to now not only save your talent builds but ...
