When Jackhammer of EU Frostwhisper first sent us this Alliance Northrend flight point gallery, I kind of shrugged it off. Flight points are the most traveled places in the game, by definition. Why would we be interested in something we see all the time. You take pictures on vacation, not at home. But after looking through it, I was struck by just how well-crafted these places are. From the Fizzcrank Airstrip to the heights of Icecrown, there's a lot
of beauty to be found in these places as well, and not just on the back of a griffon.
It's a nice gallery, and it gives you a nice hint of just how varied Northrend is -- there are fires burning and flightmasters giving rides all over the continent, and by browsing through the pictures, you get a good look at what kinds of crevices the Alliance have inserted themselves into in Northrend. And if nothing else, it's some
nice art to look through on a Saturday afternoon.
Whats the point in a mage?
Roll a warlock if you wanna be part of the crowd of easymode classes.
As far as talents go, mages are getting a much needed buff in the expansion.
If you're honestly only concerned about being powerful, roll a rogue or warrior.seems to me that you have yet to find your play style. for example you give up on hunters cos you dont like them. you'v tried mage & warrior & dont like them either.
What id recomend is playing a hybrid class, one of the following... Druid or Shaman, these classes you can spec to heal, spec to do melee Damage or Spec to be a caster so when you hit one of thoes moods where your feed up of being a metal mage (shaman) for example, you can just respec & take on people on in melee combat rather than delete & start another class.
Thanks for the advice, especialy you Blade-Raider, i have decided to play a priest now as its definitely my thing. I can't hit hard and its a real pain but i like them best. And your right Therion11 why just do what everyone else does and play an easy character, its more my style to be the person who rolled a weakish PvP and is constantly mauled by rogues. But hey, im going to phycic scream and heal

mages take time and skill but once you get to level 10 and get your real spells youll have no problem at allmages, first of all, are great to solo but even better to instnace/pvp with. fire mages have great burst damage and can deal great Dot's to anyone, especially hihger level ones. Frost mages are greatfor slowing things down, and arcane mages are incredible mana savers because of some of the talents they can take. They have Polymorph (crowd control), frost nova and in much later levels a form of invisibility. I myself dont like to pvp but when i do (or have to) I can't be a tank but i can add a s!@#ton of damage.hey im a mage and i think they r da best they can teleport and hv the coolest armor and hv the most powerful spells but ' pvp spell casters its druid
wow, pallywompus i am a frost mage and in instances i out dps everyone unless we have a well geared lock then it gets close. If you look in bg's frost mages are right at the top of dps charts with locks and rogues. O ya the reason y ppl are saying their main
tank does more dmg than the mage is bull. If you find a mage theat cant out dps a tank, KICK HIM he obviously doesnt know how to play his class. The people that put down mages are just jelous of the massive dps output we have. Mages are always #1 dps if ya use them right.If you want to go back to a mage they rock and in a group they are the main suppliers by lvl
