Competent hunters should be very valuable indeed now that the pet-talent trees have been introduced.
Even before the new pet talents were introduced I could get my pet to tank some pretty nasty mobs and
I was only using a DPS pet as well (Raptor). Now with the introduction of the new talents, it looks to me that a properly specd BM hunter with a Tenacity (Tank) pet should be able to have their pet tank through lower end instances.
They have more aggro ability, a 'Last-stand', an Intervene and a Taunt now as well...plus their armour will add up to enough to take a beating. Could be fun to try...blackrock is a fun solo instance i did it at lvl 70 with gorilla should be more fun nowSo what are the roles? Bears, gorillas, cats? Just seeing what others' input is.
BM MM or SV
Hey, i have a lvl 13 hunter and wanted to know which talent tree i should put my talent points in. I have all mine in SV so far. I will probably go in Deadmines and play in Warsong Gulch as well as questing and PVE, so i would i appreciate any tips.what i use. it may not be the best one out there but it is better then just leaving u hanging.
the best tree for hunter lving is to go all the way though BM and then get Aimed shot in MM. i do pvp with that build and do just fine.
is what i will be using when i hit 80OK, thank you very much for the tip.don't quite understand, why many people do not
like the range increase in SV.okay with the new patch changes coming up, bm is still a good lvling spec because your pet (please be tenacity) will tank for you. When the patch comes out for 80 hunters, you may have to swtich becuase unless you have the t7 bonus and a devilsaur. otherwise your dps will drop and marks or surv will become new raiding spec
