Or youould resp for raid nights when needed. But honestly, if the OP were in my guild I'd be surprised if they didn't sp to their role even while gearing for it. Sure, youan "get away" with a pure DPS sp as tank inertainiumstaes but it's not ideal. Just my opinion ofourse.
tank sp is 555 + dps talents dps sp is 000+dps talents hybrid sp is when you dual wield withorpse explosion and jerk off to uther the lightbringer every morning. this soalled 'tank' sp tually doesompetitive dps if you have dps gear and aren't retarded. not #1 dps but it does good damage. likewise if you go with a full dps sp, have good gearhealersguild,
and know wtf you are doing, youan do what i did and MT at least half of naxx as this sp (with tank gear on): wowarmoryomcharter-...;n=Nephalem
tually I spced hybrid tankDPS with Unholy as a base tree. I pked up Toughness, Blade Barrier and Antation and found myself easilyapable of maintanking any pre-Hero instae of equal level, with PUG groups not uber guildmates. This 'you need to spialise' is only true at level 80 Heros and Raids, and thats only bause you'reompeting with other players andlasses. Naysayers be damned, either I'm the most awesome DK player on these boards or it's entirely possible to be a tank and DPS alternately with the same sp. A non-fus tank just
needs to payloser attention toooldowns, that's all. Hell, I tanked everything from Utgarde Keep to Halls of Lightning on Normal and was stilloming top of the DPS meters. I personally rommend Unholy or Frost as a hybrid base, Blood is
just too spialised into DPS at the moment. Just make sure you have all three avoidae talents listed above, and try to pk up Bone Shield or Unbreakable Armor later down the line. Swih to Frost Presee and have fun.
